Bottom heat is a critical factor in ensuring successful germination and rooting, and our HEAVY DUTY modular commercial heat mats deliver uniform warmth to hundreds of seedlings or cuttings. With the ability to warm the root area 10-20F above ambient temperature, this add-on unit significantly improves the germination process.

Measuring an impressive 60" x 21", these supersized mats are built to be rugged and durable, featuring waterproof connectors for added safety. You can easily connect up to 5 units in total - combining 4 of these add-on units with the Commercial Mat MTMDU. Simply plug them into an MTMDU heat mat and/or another MTMDA mat, with the first mat in the chain being an MTMDU that connects to our Digital Heat Mat Thermostat (MTPRTC) for precise temperature control (Thermostat required, sold separately).
